Job Summary The Business Sales Executive is responsible for overseeing structured renewal processes to retain clients and maximize revenue opportunities while collaborating closely with sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves preparing renewal timelines, monitoring renewal opportunities using CRM tools, and maintaining an organized database of renewal contracts. The specialist will also conduct regular reviews of renewal processes, provide status updates, and establish relationships with partners like Pure Storage to support sales growth plans.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience with IT sales or channel business development role
  • 3-5 years of experience with selling storage product lines, Pure Storage preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in working with partners and the IT Channel
  • 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • The ability to provide expert guidance, effectively lead teams, organize tasks efficiently, and interact harmoniously with others to achieve organizational goals. - Intermediate
  • The capacity to work independently, contribute effectively in team settings, and engage successfully with individuals at all organizational levels. - Intermediate
  • The capability to distinguish between short- and long-term objectives, as well as individual partner and employee goals, to collaboratively work towards a unified organizational vision. - Intermediate
  • The proficiency in delivering presentations, and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, enabling comfortable and professional interactions with diverse internal and external leadership contacts. - Intermediate
  • The ability to actively listen and present ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Intermediate
  • The expertise in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various business systems such as AX, SalesCenter, CRM, and PBI. - Intermediate
  • The ability to consistently research and proactively identify changes and trends within the software industry. - Intermediate
  • The capability to establish and maintain relationships with external partners and executive-level stakeholders. - Intermediate
  • The experience and knowledge in working with Pure Storage Global Segments. - Intermediate

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute structured renewal processes to retain clients and maximize revenue opportunities, ensuring timely and efficient processes.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure smooth execution of renewals and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, present, and discuss renewal timelines to identify growth opportunities and proactively engage with clients before renewal expirations.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze renewal opportunities using CRM tools to forecast future renewals and identify potential issues or opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of partner products and services, staying updated with changes to deliver value through license consolidation.
  • Maintain an organized and accurate database of renewal contracts, ensuring data reliability.
  • Conduct regular reviews and recommend improvements to renewal processes and procedures.
  • Continuously learn about market trends and partner strategies to keep customers informed about the software and security landscape.
  • Provide ongoing status updates, coordinate next steps on renewals with customers and sales, and deliver monthly reporting and analysis of business results.
  • Establish and develop relationships between SHI and Pure Storage within the sales vertical to support sales growth plans and align activities with sales goals.
