About The Position

The Business Services Coordinator II supports the DHHS Division of Central Management Services and Support (CMS). The NC Department of Heath and Human Services (DHHS) has a budget of over $25B with multiple federal and other receipts. Ten of the State's 11 federal block grants of over $990M annually as well as over 100 formula and discretionary grants and state appropriations. This position is responsible for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Procurement Card (P-Card), grant, invoice coding, office management, and administrative support. This position will assist the programmatic areas in business related research, perform information and data analysis related to finances and budget and generate reports as necessary. This position will require a working knowledge of Excel, Access, NCFS, BEACON and E-Procurement in order to extract, analyze and report data. This position reconciles, analyzes, applies and interprets cost data for multiple cost centers and programs. Data from multiple systems is often needed to resolve issues and compile reports for the t analysts and management team. Further, this position will be required to analyze various budget and financial reports, understand federal and state regulations in order to make correct accounts payable and cost allocation decisions. This position will review, examine and prepare documents. It also requires strong organizational and recordkeeping skills to obtain, analyze and organize data accurately and effectively.

  • High school of General Educational Development (GED) diploma and five years of related administrative experience OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
