About The Position

As a Business Systems Administrator II, you’ll own day-to-day administration for multiple internal platforms and resolve moderately complex issues end-to-end. You’ll contribute heavily to software implementation projects as a key implementer, help improve repeatable processes, and support automation through maintaining and making small improvements to existing scripts and workflows. You’ll also develop a strong eye for what can be automated to reduce toil and improve consistency. You will: Own routine administration across multiple systems (identity, collaboration, ticketing, productivity, and business applications), including access models and platform hygiene. Resolve moderately complex issues end-to-end using logs, audit trails, and vendor/admin tooling; document root cause and preventative actions. Handle escalations from Helpdesk that require admin-console access and deeper investigation; improve escalation quality through feedback and runbooks. Be a major contributor on software implementation projects (configuration work, test/validation plans, data cleanup/migration support, rollout communications support, and training enablement). Maintain and improve repeatable processes (onboarding/offboarding, access changes, approvals, license governance, and standard reporting). Support automation by maintaining existing scripts and low-code workflows; make small, safe adjustments (parameters, thresholds, minor logic changes) with review and good change hygiene. Identify and recommend process improvements where automation could reduce manual work, improve accuracy, or shorten cycle time. Participate in security and governance work (access reviews, policy enforcement support, evidence collection, exception handling) in partnership with Security/GRC.

Requirements

  • Understanding of what can be automated and how automation improves operational consistency; comfort collaborating with senior teammates on automation design.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to produce clear, reusable documentation.
  • Experience working with AI/LLM platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Moveworks) for productivity, support workflows, or automation, while following company data-handling guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms (Okta Workflows, Zapier, Make, Workato) and maintaining governed workflows.
  • Basic experience working with APIs (pulling data, using vendor tooling/docs, simple token-based calls) and data formats (CSV/JSON).
  • Familiarity with SaaS governance (license utilization, app catalog hygiene, ownership mapping, deprecation support).
  • Experience supporting audits or compliance evidence workflows (access review artifacts, control evidence, reporting).
