About The Position

Knowledge Business Services (KBS) is a leading multidisciplinary organization supporting software, professional services, and technology solutions across regulated government and commercial markets. KBS provides shared services and governance for multiple operating entities, including Knowledge Services, RAMPquest, RAMPxchange, dotStaff, and other mission-focused business units. KBS is seeking a Business Systems Administrator to support the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of key enterprise business applications across the organization. This role sits within the Information Technology shared services team and is responsible for ensuring critical business systems are secure, reliable, well-integrated, and aligned to operational needs. The Business Systems Administrator will serve as the primary technical owner for platforms such as HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ADP, iCIMS, and other business process software supporting finance, HR, recruiting, sales, and corporate operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience administering enterprise business systems or SaaS platforms
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting one or more of the following: HubSpot, Business Central, ADP, iCIMS, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of business workflows across HR, Finance, Recruiting, and Sales operations
  • Experience managing user access, roles, permissions, and system governance
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution across IT, business teams, and vendors
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise integrations (APIs, middleware, data connectors)
  • Familiarity with IT service management practices (change control, incident management)
  • Experience in a multi-entity or shared services corporate environment
  • Knowledge of compliance-driven environments or regulated industries

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and support core enterprise business platforms, including: HubSpot (CRM and marketing automation) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP/finance) ADP (HRIS and payroll systems) iCIMS (applicant tracking and talent acquisition) Additional SaaS tools supporting corporate operations
  • Manage system configuration, workflows, user roles, permissions, and security settings
  • Maintain platform health, performance, and reliability across business units
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Recruiting, Sales, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into system configurations
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, reporting, and user experience
  • Support process standardization across KBS shared services and operating entities
  • Coordinate integrations between enterprise platforms and internal systems
  • Support data integrity, system-to-system synchronization, and reporting consistency
  • Assist with troubleshooting integration issues and vendor-supported enhancements
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise application issues and escalations
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and operating procedures
  • Train business users and administrators on platform functionality and best practices
  • Support access governance, role-based controls, and audit readiness for enterprise systems
  • Serve as a primary liaison with software vendors for support, troubleshooting, and roadmap planning
  • Coordinate upgrades, releases, and change management activities
  • Participate in testing and validation of new features, modules, and enhancements
  • Ensure enterprise applications align with corporate security policies and compliance expectations
  • Support IT and Information Security teams in maintaining secure configurations and appropriate access controls
  • Assist with audit requests, control validation, and risk mitigation activities related to business systems
