You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self-, and out-of-the-box thinker. Please note, this is a full-time role with a required hybrid schedule in one of the locations posted. Current and/or future sponsorships are not available for this role. About the team: The FIS Output Solutions (FOS) team is responsible for print and electronic communications for thousands of FIS clients. The Business System Analysts are the project accelerators within the FOS organization. From the initial sizing request through the project go-live our objective is to accelerate the completion/implementation of the development requests.

Requirements

Knowledge of print, mail, graphic art, and electronic communications channels
Data mapping experience
Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.
Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
A bachelor’s in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Develops large and/or highly complex solutions that require analysis and research.
Travel to client sites occasionally for testing coordination / validation, requirements gathering, and sales/client support for onsite visits.
Work on multiple projects as a project leader or technical leader/consultant.
Work on complex tasks, projects or issues that involve a high degree of risk, impacts business unit performance and makes use of the individuals’ high level of knowledge within one or more areas of business systems analysis.
Coaches and mentors' junior business systems analysts.
Works without or minimal supervision on the most complex projects.
Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency.
Selecting hardware, software and vendors.
