About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented problem solver to join our IT team. This position will be a Salesforce Administrator role supporting project managers and operations staff with project management, accounting, and reporting functions. You will be the primary point of contact for CEE’s Klient professional services automation implementation, responsible for understanding business requirements and designing project- and budget-monitoring tools with end-users. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of project management and the Salesforce platform to analyze project financial and performance data, integrate it with operations systems, and work closely with stakeholders to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will bring initiative, stakeholder experience and a communications-forward attitude. This position does not have any direct reports. Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) is a clean energy nonprofit with offices in North Loop of Minneapolis and Roseville, MN. We provide practical energy solutions for homes, businesses, and communities to cut energy waste and harmful emissions. Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as administrator or business systems analyst in Salesforce Sales Cloud, particularly in budgeting and project management applications.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication in a hybrid workplace
  • Experience engaging end users to understand their project management needs and deliver tailored solutions with written guidance
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and taking ownership of solutions
  • Testing solutions with developers and users using a task management system

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with professional services automation such as FinancialForce/Certinia or Klient
  • Experience in project management
  • Enthusiasm and experience with helping users understand and report budget data

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to project and operations colleagues to define performance metrics, identify data requirements and tailor processes and reports to fit business needs.
  • Work with payroll and accounting staff to customize and troubleshoot operations procedures.
  • Optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards for project managers.
  • Display program data to support strategic decision-making and assess business effectiveness.
  • Train users and document best practices.
  • Recognize opportunities for automation and innovation and work with stakeholders to build them in Salesforce.
  • Other duties as assigned or apparent
