About The Position

The Business Systems & IT Manager is responsible for implementing, optimizing, and maintaining DISA’s core business systems and information technology environment. This role will take ownership of rolling out a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform along with related business applications while also serving as the company’s primary IT lead, supporting day-to-day technology operations, user support, and device lifecycle management. This position ensures that DISA’s systems, infrastructure, and tools are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with operational needs across engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate has hands-on ERP and systems experience and is comfortable operating in a high-growth, industrial environment where wearing multiple hats and executing tactically is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5–8 years of experience supporting or administering ERP systems including Netsuite, preferrably within engineering, mining, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in or leading Netsuite ERP implementations, upgrades, or major module rollouts.
  • Prior experience managing IT operations, end-user support, and hardware/software environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Netsuite ERP systems and business process workflows in industrial or technical environments.
  • Proven experience implementing new systems and processes.
  • Practical, hands-on IT support and troubleshooting experience.
  • Customer service oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation, day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of the company’s Netsuite ERP system, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and usability.
  • Support Netsuite ERP implementation phases including requirements gathering, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation optimization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external ERP vendors or implementation partners.
  • Maintain system documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures related to ERP usage and governance.
  • Support integrations between ERP and related business systems, including reporting, inventory, purchasing, and project tracking tools.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to ensure ERP data supports accurate reporting, costing, and decision-making.
  • Administer and support SharePoint sites used for document control, engineering records, policies, and internal collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain document control standards, permissions, versioning, and retention practices within SharePoint and associated systems.
  • Assist in identifying system gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or process improvement.
  • Provide user training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for ERP and document management tools.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for daily IT support requests and user tickets, troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues.
  • Manage IT employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account provisioning, permissions, and equipment recovery.
  • Procure, configure, deploy, and maintain company IT equipment, including laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and accessories.
  • Maintain inventory tracking and lifecycle management of all IT assets.
  • Administer core IT systems such as email, identity management, endpoint security, collaboration tools, and VPN access.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors, managed service providers, and software vendors as needed.
  • Support cybersecurity best practices, including access controls, patching, endpoint protection, and data security awareness.
  • Provide user training and guidance on systems, tools, and technology best practices.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures established by DISA.
  • Attend and participate in all required safety trainings.
  • Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.
