About The Position

ANS is seeking a Business Systems Applications Manager. The Business Systems Applications Manager is responsible for the architecture, integration, administration, and continuous improvement of the firm’s core business systems. This role serves as the connective tissue between finance, operations, project delivery, sales, and leadership, ensuring systems are reliable, well-integrated, and actively enabling better decision-making. This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role with strategic influence.

Requirements

  • 8+ years supporting and administering enterprise business applications.
  • Deep experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
  • Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and project/resource management platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with iPaaS tools (Make.com, Workato, Boomi, Zapier, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Project accounting and financial workflows
  • Data structures and relational logic
  • Business process automation
  • Comfort writing and debugging integration logic, mappings, and transformations.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Systems Architecture & Integration
  • Design and maintain end-to-end workflows across ERP, CRM, project management, and reporting platforms.
  • Architect and build automated integrations using Make.com (or equivalent), APIs, and native connectors.
  • Ensure data integrity, synchronization logic, error handling, and auditability across systems.
  • Document system architecture, data flows, and integration dependencies.
  • Application Administration & Ownership
  • Serve as the system owner for NetSuite, Pipedrive, Monday.com, and related tools.
  • Configure workflows, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Manage upgrades, releases, testing, and change control.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and user adoption.
  • Business Partnership & Enablement
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, PMO, Business Development, and Leadership to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, rework, and data fragmentation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on “how the system should work,” not just how it currently works.
  • Support reporting and analytics needs for leadership and operational teams.
  • Governance, Data, and Controls
  • Establish system governance standards, including data definitions, permissions, and workflows.
  • Support internal controls related to financial systems and operational reporting.
  • Ensure integrations and processes scale with firm growth, acquisitions, and evolving service lines.
  • Vendor & Tool Management
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, consultants, and integration partners.
  • Evaluate new tools and enhancements with a bias toward simplicity, scalability, ROI.
  • Support license management and cost optimization.
