About The Position

At Regions, the Business Transformation Analyst conducts analysis through strategic thinking, data analytics and banking expertise to create insights that drive informed decision making and ensures execution. This role is responsible to transform analysis through storyboarding and data visualization into tailored leadership communication. This role supports transformation consultants and managers in the execution of the bank’s strategy. This role is a strategic storyteller, critical thinker, innovator, and purpose-driven delivery leader who will thrive in ambiguity and enjoys working in team environments.

Requirements

  • Masters of Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in Business/Systems analysis or related field
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field and five (5) years of experience in Business/Systems analysis or related field
  • Ability to define and inquire on trends to formulate business insights
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Agile skillset working in dynamic environments
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Proficient in data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools and techniques
  • Self-starter / motivated
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Technical aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Industry

Responsibilities

  • Supports project delivery in all phases of the solution development lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation follow up
  • Performs intermediate to complex research and analysis to gather, analyze and interpret data to support transformation projects
  • Develops business cases for action, defining the problem statement, approach, and benefits of proposed solutions
  • Crafts executive messaging to senior leadership on transformation programs
  • Works closely with the technology, operations, lines of business and enabling functions on a wide range of projects
  • Monitors progress to ensure transformation programs are meeting schedule, scope and financial plans
  • Works alongside and learns from our cross-functional teams with leaders and peers from varying backgrounds, educations and experiences
