What You’ll Do Purchase and Negotiate: Use your industry expertise to secure the best prices for scrap metal. Build Relationships: Maintain and grow existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities. Inspect Materials: Assess quality, grade, and value of scrap metal to ensure optimal pricing. Manage Transactions: Write customer scale tickets and assist with weighing materials. Drive Business Growth: Stay ahead of market trends, analyze competitors, and strategize for success. Collaborate: Work closely with inventory control and other departments to maintain seamless operations. What We’re Looking For: Industry Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in the scrap metal industry, with a solid understanding of how metals are valued and processed. Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to secure deals and maintain competitive pricing. Customer Service Excellence: A passion for building and maintaining client relationships. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
