The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our team. This position would be responsible for the strategic sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of materials and services to support manufacturing operations. Additionally, the Buyer I will: Work directly with engineering and manufacturing to develop request for quotes and identify new supplier opportunities for materials and services. Negotiate terms and conditions of purchase. Develop and maintain supplier relationships. Responsible and accountable for procurement of shelf-life products to support manufacturing operations Contracting services for repair and maintenance of capital equipment and spare parts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics
• 1+ years of experience in purchasing / supply chain preferred
• Strategic sourcing and manufacturing experience preferred
• Aerospace and Military and Defense experience a plus
• MS Office and ERP system knowledge is required; SAP preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
• U. S. citizenship is required
• Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
