About The Position

Position Summary: The Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment for our manufacturing business.   • 3+ years of experience in buying/purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in MS Office (preferred)
  • Excellent Excel, Microsoft Office, HFM and NetSuite knowledge, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiating with suppliers
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Tracking / expediting orders
  • Implementing cost and lead time reductions through the sourcing of alternate parts and suppliers
  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve business requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for pricing/lead time improvements
  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor
