About The Position

The Buyer professional will be responsible for purchasing materials, managing inventory, and working with suppliers to support efficient production, cost control, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Expertise in purchasing and procurement processes.
• Experience with purchase orders and ERP systems.
• Ability to plan and manage inventory effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in vendor management.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for material planning and purchasing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• APICS/CPIM certification or international procurement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase materials using MRP and pull-based systems to support production and customer demand.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and performance criteria.
• Maintain inventory levels, expedite orders, and resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
• Support lean inventory and just-in-time practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
