Southwest Electric is looking for a Buyer in Oklahoma City, OK to ensure all Southwest Electric locations purchase and receive materials on time and at economical coasts. Prepare national contracts for items where applicable. How the Buyer will create an impact: Use of MRP; Efficient flow of purchasing goods and materials. Provide Economy; Identify Materials, research potential venders. Create P/N; Suggest improvement for efficient flow. Metric/KPIs; Establish Central Purchasing/ Supply chain metrics. Continuous Process Improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred or accounting alternatively high school diploma plus 3 years of related experience.
  • Degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in supply chain, procurement, or business
  • 1–5 years of experience in operational purchasing or supply chain operations (level-dependent)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and structured working style
  • Clear communication skills for cross-functional and supplier coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment

Responsibilities
