About The Position

We are seeking a C#/.NET Developer who treats software development as a craft—an engineer who enjoys building reliable systems, improving performance, and delivering scalable server-side capabilities. In this role, you’ll help create and enhance high-volume backend features, design robust web services/APIs, and contribute to distributed server systems that support console applications, browser applications, and external service integrations.

Requirements

6+ years building scalable distributed systems in production environments
Strong expertise in C#/.NET (C++ is a plus depending on project alignment)
Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design patterns and concepts
Proven experience with API design and development (REST and service-oriented patterns)
Strong understanding of web service scalability, performance, and security practices
Solid database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
Hands-on experience with source control, ideally Perforce
Working knowledge of Agile software development processes

Nice To Haves

Experience building services supporting multiple application types (console/mobile/web/external services)
Experience tuning IIS/.NET applications for performance and throughput
Background in large-scale consumer platforms, gaming, media, or high-traffic digital products

Responsibilities

Build and enhance high-volume, highly scalable server-side features using C#, .NET, Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server (MSSQL)
Design and develop web services/APIs supporting console apps, browser apps, and external service integrations
Contribute to highly reliable distributed server systems, including fault tolerance and resiliency improvements
Drive web performance optimization through profiling, tuning, and reducing latency under load
Apply best practices for scalability, security, and performance across service and API layers
Collaborate with engineering stakeholders and partner with global technology teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies and work in an iterative, delivery-focused environment
Maintain clean, maintainable code using strong OO design principles and proven design patterns
Use source control (preferably Perforce) with discipline around branching, merging, and review workflows
