CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team! The Member Service Representative I is responsible for processing a wide variety of financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, to name a few) and opens new accounts. This individual is also responsible for enhancing members’ financial well-being by determining needs, providing financial education and cross selling members/potential members on CEFCU products and services. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Maintain organization viability through goal attainment set forth in member center and corporate balanced scorecards. • Promote a needs-based sales and service culture by living CEFCU's mission, vision, and values, and supporting member center and corporate balanced scorecards initiatives. • Supports other Member Centers in the region as needed for the purposes of cross training and to cover staffing shortages to meet business demands and maintain appropriate service levels. This is a full-time position (minimum 37.5 hours for the week); availability to work on Saturdays is required. The hourly rate of pay for new hires is $23.18/hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS) to comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act).
  • One year of previous customer service experience with cash handling.
  • Must be sales/solutions/service oriented and work well in a production/goal attainment environment
