About The Position
The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking friendly, reliable, and service-driven Cabana Servers to join our summer pool team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with members, and delivering attentive, upbeat service in a fast-paced environment. While food and beverage experience is helpful, we place greater value on customer service skills, accountability, and attitude than on technical experience. Anticipated Start Date: These seasonal positions are expected to begin around May 22, 2026, weather and operational needs permitting. Why Choose CCY? Ideal candidates demonstrate: Strong customer service and communication skills Reliability, accountability, and punctuality A friendly, professional, and energetic demeanor Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate member needs Willingness to learn menus, service standards, and systems Ability to work efficiently in a team setting Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day Must be 18 years of age or older What You’ll Do Greet and engage members and guests in a warm, professional manner Provide prompt and accurate food and beverage service throughout the pool area Learn members’ names and preferences to deliver personalized service Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service areas Accurately enter orders and communicate special requests or allergies Ensure proper billing information is collected Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies Communicate member feedback, concerns, or issues to leadership Perform other appropriate duties as assigned About CCY Established in 1899, the Country Club of York is the leading-edge club in the community, with state of the art facilities to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
