About The Position

Temp To Full-Time STAFFUP is hiring for Cable Jacket Extrusion Operators for a PVC wire and cable production company in Dallas, TX! Shift: 8AM Start (Possible rotating shift) Monday to Friday Pay Rate: $18.00HR Key Responsibilities: Operate extrusion production line equipment such as pay-off stands, extruders, cooling troughs, & take-up machines. Loading raw materials such as copper & plastic into the machine per work instructions. Set up, adjust and monitor the production machinery. Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure machinery is clean for smooth operation. Perform in-line quality checks, such as diameter, surface condition, insulation eccentricity, printing, pitch and lay length. Follow SOPs & safety guidelines. Requirements: Prior experience in PVC wire and cable manufacturing is highly preferred Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions Able to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. & ERP / MES systems. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Comfortable with standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Strong attention to detail and quality Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Willingness to work overtime depending on order volume Staff-Up, LLC participates in E-Verify 18.00

Requirements

• Prior experience in PVC wire and cable manufacturing is highly preferred
