REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

Requirements

• MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.
• Shall have a minimum of ten (12) years technical experience in IT cable installation and termination.
• Provide team leadership, engineering, and design knowledge to meet technical specifications.
• In-Depth knowledge of termination equipment, methodologies, and splicing techniques.
• Areas of knowledge must also include: physical ability to lift 50 pounds, cable termination, testing, cable rack preparation, layout and installation, and documentation.
• A valid BICSI Technician certification is required.
• Five additional years of experience may be substituted for certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to team members.
• Provide daily oversight for executing training and keeping track of tasks that have been assigned.
• Responsible for ensuring that team members have the technical skills and training necessary to complete their assignments.
• Cable leads track that each team member’s tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner, and reports deficiencies only to their requisite Cable Support Managers.
• The cable lead should be energetic, and an effective communicator, to help ensure that all team members know their assigned tasks and technical questions are answered.
• The cable lead shall possess the necessary skills to motivate the team, as well as maintain a high level of discipline and respect
