About The Position

· Receive and manage intake calls for the Children’s Advocacy Center · Serves as the primary point of contact for general inquiries via phone and email · Intake emergency response calls from the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and distribute appropriate notifications to MDT partners · Coordinate communication between MDT members as needed · Follow up with MDT partners regarding missing or outstanding documentation · Monitor and manage the CAC email daily · Create and maintain case files, including 51A reports and police records · Enter cases into the CAC database accurately and in a timely manner · Maintain organized onsite and offsite files in accordance with record-retention policies · Request and track medical reports from the Child Protection Program at UMASS · Compile and maintain statistical data for reporting and grant requirements · Schedule forensic interviews as needed · Support CAC accreditation and re-accreditation processes · Order offices supplies and CAC-specific materials · Support special projects, events, training and program initiatives as assigned · Schedule mandated reporter training for our community partners · Understanding of trauma-informed and victim-centered practices.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Self-motivated with ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize time sensitive matters and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships with fellow employees, professionals, community members and other government agencies
  • Capacity to maintain a high level of confidentiality and maturity in handling sensitive matters
