CAD Professional IV - Land Development
About The Position
Clymer Farner Barley (CFB) is hiring! We are seeking experienced CAD Professionals to join our Engineering team. We have immediate openings in our Orlando and Middleton/The Villages offices. CFB has over 30 years of experience delivering civil engineering and land surveying solutions across Florida. Our teams' partner with public and private clients on land development, utilities, transportation, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a high-level CAD Professionals who can work independently, produce complex plans, and mentor junior technicians - this role is not for an entry-level candidate.
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive civil engineering production experience (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
- Produce complex permitting and/or construction plans, details, and maps.
- Provide team-wide quality control (QC) on drawings and deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior CAD technicians in developing their skills.
- Apply advanced knowledge of Civil 3D and drafting principles to deliver high-quality designs.
