About The Position

The successful candidate will be available to serve as a cafe monitor, 3 hours per day, providing student supervision in elementary cafeterias. This is an hourly position with no additional benefits. This position reports to the Principal.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Able to read and follow directions.
• Must be in general good health, able to stand for long periods of time (3 hours), and be able to lift 10lbs. frequently and 30lbs. occasionally.
• This position only works when school is in session (students present), 3 hours daily with NO benefits.
• Performance evaluations are conducted by the Principal.

Responsibilities

• Help setup the serving area to begin meal service.
• Help students through the meal line (as needed), assisting with milk, condiments, and pin numbers.
• Supervise children while they eat and respond to needs/requests from students (as needed).
• Monitor the Cafe to maintain a healthy noise level, providing a suitable lunch-time environment.
• Clean Cafe tables during and following lunch shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
