About The Position
Bean Sprouts Café is a women-owned, award-winning, hip & healthy café concept located inside family destinations such as children's museums, science centers and amusement parks. We are rapidly expanding, providing advancement opportunities and leadership growth - we love to promote from within! Our philosoPEA: Spark children's appetites with yummy, good-for-you food; and delight grown-ups with a happier mealtime! Bean Sprouts is on the lookout for go-getters with food service or retail experience, amazing attitudes, and a passion for the Bean Sprouts culture and customer experience. We have part-time positions for weekends, holidays, and over school breaks - great opportunity for students!
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Back of house/kitchen experience is a plus!
- Have a Food Handlers Permit. If you don't have one yet, we will help you get one.
- Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
- Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Bean Sprouts will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests enthusiastically and provide an exceptional guest experience
- Take orders, receive payments, and assist guests
- Prepare food and beverages
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dining area and front of house
- Any additional tasks needed to run the day-to-day café operations as assigned
