The Cage Cashier is responsible for providing accurate and efficient cash handling services to casino guests, including exchanging chips, redeeming vouchers, and processing cash transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle financial transactions securely in a fast-paced environment. Maintain security and accountability over all funds. Follow all casino security and compliance procedures, including identification verification, fraud prevention, and regulatory guidelines. Process credit, debit, and check transactions accurately and in compliance with company policies. Verify large transactions and ensure all required approvals and documentation are obtained. Maintain accurate records of all cash, chips, and vouchers received or disbursed. Count and reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare cash deposits as required. Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, complaints, or discrepancies professionally. Assist with audits and internal reporting as requested. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Support other cage operations or team members as needed.
