About The Position

The Cage Supervisor is responsible for creating a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and ensuring excellent guest service. They oversee Cage operations and personnel, safeguard company assets, and maintain compliance with gaming regulations. The role also involves resolving guest disputes and serving as a role model for professionalism and company standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years’ supervisor experience required.
  • Minimum one to two (1-2) years’ related experience required.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to work without direction and have organizational skills to accurately multi-task.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills in a professional manner, especially with all levels of management.
  • Good mathematical and clerical aptitude for accurate record keeping.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must.
  • Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration across departments.
  • Oversee all Cage operations and personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and service standards.
  • Safeguard company assets while maintaining efficient, courteous interactions with guests.
  • Authorize credit within established limits and perform banking transactions, including checks, markers, and currency purchases.
  • Monitor Cage activities for adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve disputes when necessary.
  • Prepare staff schedules to meet business demands and conduct periodic performance reviews.
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring Cashier Department personnel.
  • Serve as a professional role model, upholding company standards, and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Maintain attendance guidelines and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
