Requirements

• Proven experience in cake decorating, preferably in a bakery or pastry shop
• Strong artistic skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer specifications and company standards
• Prepare and assemble cakes, including layering, filling, and icing
• Create custom designs, including intricate piping and themed decorations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and tools
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards
• Collaborate with customers and team members to understand design requirements
• Manage inventory of decorating supplies and order materials as needed
