About The Position

Our Statewide Specialty Scheduling team is seeking a qualified professional to join our System Patient Access Center. This entry-level position operates as the "Virtual Front Office" for multiple outpatient physician practices throughout Indiana. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality. While previous call center experience is advantageous, it is not a requirement. Upon completion of training and fulfillment of performance standards, hybrid and/or remote work options may be available. Onsite location is the Revenue Cycle Shadeland office in Indianapolis, IN. Hours are Mon-Fri between the hours of 7a-5p. Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and efficiently use multiple screens and software programs.
  • Strong values-based customer service skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and apply critical thinking.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient typing skills (50–60 WPM).
  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
