Looking for a high-energy, hands-on role where you control powerful machinery and help shape top-quality aluminum products? As a Cameron Slitter Technician at Skana Aluminum, you’ll be at the heart of the action, cutting and trimming massive aluminum coils up to 54 inches wide into precision-cut products. If you love working with machines, solving mechanical challenges, and being part of a team that gets things done, this is the job for you!

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined
• Detail-oriented
• Love working with your hands

Responsibilities

• Install mandrels, adjust settings, and fine-tune the slitter for perfect cuts.
• Check material quality, shape, and surface while making real-time adjustments.
• Measure gauge, width, and camber to meet exact customer specs.
• Tag, transport, and send coils to the next operation.
• Become an area expert in equipment operations and Lockout/Tagout.
• Maintain a spotless workspace and tackle pit cleaning every other week.
