CAMP LEADER
About The Position
Lawrence Parks, Recreation and Culture’s Traditional Camp is looking for energetic, fun and responsible camp counselors to join our team. As a camp counselor, individuals will be responsible for fostering a fun, safe and engaging environment for children ages 5-12. Counselors will lead and engage in activities, be a good role model and work as a team with other camp counselors. Camp runs from 9am-4pm with afterhours care from 4pm-5pm. Counselors must be available to work 8 hours, 5 days a week during camp season. Why Join Us? Gain hands-on experience in leadership, communication, and team collaboration. Requirements
- Applicants must be 16 years of age.
- Must be certified or willing to become certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED before the camp begins.
- A passion for working with children and creating unforgettable experiences.
- Successful candidate is required to pass a background check.
