Camp Counselor - Summer Season
About The Position
New Albany Country Club is currently accepting resumes for responsible, outgoing, and experienced camp counselors for a 9-week summer camp program for children ages 4-7, held at New Albany Country Club. This position will be for the months of June-August. Camp hours range from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Schedules vary and weekends and holidays may be required. A teacher or college student with an educational background is preferred. Must be reliable with an outgoing and friendly personality. CPR/First Aid certification required. Lifeguard certification preferred. Camp counselor responsibilities include leading and participating in games and activities, setting up lunch and snacks for campers, swimming, and being attentive in the water during swim time, setting up tables/chairs for camp and tearing down at the end of the camp day, engaging with campers at all times, and providing a safe and fun environment for the children. Pay Rate is $15.00 an hour based on experience.
Requirements
- Must be reliable with an outgoing and friendly personality
- CPR/First Aid certification required
