About The Position

Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma. Lawrence Parks, Recreation and Culture’s Traditional Camp is looking for camp counselors with previous experience who are ready to step into a leadership role where they will help guide their team, create exciting and fun experiences for kids and foster a fun, safe and engaging environment for children ages 5-12. Head counselors will help come up with camp activities and enforce camp policies and procedures. Head Counselors must be available to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week during camp season.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma
• Previous experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A passion for working with kids
• Certified or willing to get certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED
• Must be available to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week during camp season
