Overview Overnight Registered nurses work from 11pm-8am on-site at camp in Hunter, NY. Overnight RN’s work in a complete and mutually supportive team with the Unit Heads, Cabin Counselors, Program Staff, Kitchen Staff, Administration, and Campers to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all campers and staff. This is achieved by providing high-quality nursing care, administering medications, first aid, documenting care, communicating with parents/guardians and Camp Leadership, training staff on health protocols, handling emergencies (including transport to hospitals) according to camp policies and state regulations, managing medical records, promoting overall wellness for campers with diverse needs, and focusing on high-level assessment, chronic condition management and safety in a structured environment.
