About The Position

Campus Care Aide-PT Victorian Village Homer Glen, IL Providence Life Services is currently seeking a Campus Care Aide to work at our Victorian Village in Homer Glen location. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily assistance and service in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Campus Care Supervisor. Additional work organizing and developing activities is also part of the essential functions. The Campus Care Aide will also have the opportunity to work additional hours with our Private Duty division. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily assistance and service in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Campus Care Supervisor. Additional work organizing and developing activities is also part of the essential functions. Hours available: Part time hours (2:30p-6:30p) Must be open to Saturdays and Sundays on rotation Salary depends on if you are a CNA or a non-CNA.

Organizing activities
Meal and Special Events Escorts
Ted Hose Application and Removal
Bed making and linen changes
Emptying Trash
Grooming and bathing assistance
Walking
Meal Delivery
Laundry Services
Pet Services (dog walking, feeding, watering and cat feeding, watering and changing litter)
Assist with the Admissions process and greet residents and family members.
Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
Wear a gait belt to assist residents who are not fully ambulatory.
Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.
