About The Position

Groundworks Services is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Trimming Technician to support our award winning Cultivation team with post-harvest processing. This role focuses on precise trimming, quality control, and preparing product for sale or further processing while maintaining compliance and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality product
  • Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets or data tracking software (e.g., Excel)
  • Integrity, reliability, and professionalism
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining compliance standards
  • Marijuana Handler Permit (must be obtained prior to start of employment)
  • Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations required for working in the cannabis industry
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old due to state cannabis regulations and company compliance policies.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel daily in production environments with concrete or hard-surface floors
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per day
  • Ability to maintain focus in environments with background noise and activity
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and masks
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods when required

Responsibilities

  • Trim cured cannabis using an "on-the-stem" method while meeting established production quotas
  • Prepare freshly harvested cannabis for the curing process
  • Accurately weigh and record trim weights using data tracking systems
  • Inspect product and visually identify common cannabis-related pathogens
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace during post-harvest operations
  • Support broader cultivation operations, including cleaning and cross-functional tasks
