About The Position

Contingent upon contract award, TecMasters Inc. requires a Mobile Tactical Cannon Member (13B30).

Requirements

  • 10–12+ years of experience as a U.S. Army 13B Cannon Crewmember, serving as a howitzer crew member, gunner, and section chief with extensive experience operating the M109A7 and M777A2 howitzer systems. Possesses in-depth knowledge of system operation, maintenance, and hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting. Extensive experience with M109A7 and M777A2 Digital Fire Control Systems.
  • Working knowledge of the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) and its integration with howitzer Digital Fire Control Systems, as well as familiarity with U.S. Army communications systems integrated with cannon artillery platforms.
  • Detailed knowledge of 155mm cannon artillery ammunition, including projectiles, propellants, and fuze combinations, as well as ammunition limitations and safety considerations associated with cannon artillery firing. Experienced with inductive fuze setting devices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of field artillery safety programs and procedures ensuring the safe employment and operation of cannon artillery systems.
  • Strong understanding of the doctrinal employment of howitzer systems and training requirements necessary for effective operations at the individual, section, and battery levels.
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Holds a valid U.S. driver’s license with experience operating and maintaining military vehicles.
  • Qualified with the Field Artillery U6 Skill Identifier and trained in Combat Lifesaver (CLS) or advanced first aid.
  • Maintains a current and active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience operating and driving U.S. Army Heavy Tactical Wheeled Vehicles, including but not limited to the M977 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) and the M1075 Palletized Load System (PLS), along with other related variants.
