CanoeHouse Back Server
About The Position
The base salary for this position is $16.00 hourly. Our CanoeHouse Back Servers (Bussers) keep our flagship, fine dining restaurant, CanoeHouse, running smoothly by ensuring that the restaurant is clean and ready for our guests. They move swiftly throughout the dining room, clearing tables when needed and helping out our servers in delivering food and beverages to guests. Training is provided, and from time to time, they're prepared to do some heavy lifting, and when needed, they provide our guests with hospitality that will make their day just a little bit brighter. A successful candidate will work well in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment and provide consistent, luxury guest experiences. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is polite, outgoing, and eager to learn. Previous back server experience in a fine dining/luxury setting is preferred.
Requirements
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- One year of public contact experience.
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance and Food Handler Certificate required.
Nice To Haves
- High school education preferred.
- CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
- Previous back server experience in a fine dining/luxury setting is preferred.
