About The Position

Basney BMW Mazda is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer/Car Washer to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. This is a full-time, hourly role in the Auto industry and is an individual contributor position. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our dealership's vehicles in pristine condition through thorough cleaning, waxing, and detailing. You will play a critical role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are presented in top condition and reflect the high standards of our dealership.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as an automotive detailer or car washer preferred
Knowledge of proper cleaning and detailing techniques
Detail-oriented with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Good communication and time management skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as an automotive detailer or car washer preferred

Responsibilities

Wash, wax, and detail vehicles, including exterior and interior cleaning
Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats, and upholstery
Clean and polish all vehicle surfaces, including windows and tires
Remove any stickers or adhesives from vehicles' exterior and clean surfaces
Perform quality checks to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards
Keep inventory and equipment clean and in good working condition
Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines and regulations
Communicate with sales and service departments to ensure timely delivery of vehicles
Other duties as assigned by management
