Join us in nurturing deep, personal relationships and delivering easy financial solutions! What You'll Do: Lead the Charge: Resolve high-complexity card disputes and chargebacks with finesse. Detect and Protect: Perform detailed research to support fraud detection and trend identification. Keep Things Moving: Manage daily card file processing, including authorizations, settlements, and hot card reporting. Vendor Whisperer: Coordinate with vendors like Visa, MAP, Amplifi, and BDI on card-related issues. Compliance Guru: Provide expertise for compliance-related reviews and policy updates. Member Champion: Respond to escalated member inquiries and resolve complex card-related issues. Team Player: Train and support Card Services Specialist I and II team members. Project Pro: Participate in cross-functional projects related to card operations and fraud prevention.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of card operations, dispute processing, and debit/credit settlement procedures.
  • Strong understanding of card industry regulations, including Reg E and Visa dispute resolution rules.
  • Ability to analyze fraud trends and recommend solutions for loss mitigation.
  • Experience with third-party card processing systems and digital banking integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical details clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit union core and card management systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in card services or financial institution operations, with at least 2 years in an advanced role.

Responsibilities
