About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT or Board eligible
- New Mexico State licensure required
- BLS certification required. For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire
- ACLS obtained within the first year
- Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurologic and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- A graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred
- One year radiologic experience preferred
