This is an opportunity to lead within a progressive procedural environment that delivers cutting-edge interventional therapies while driving exceptional patient outcomes across the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure continuum. The Nurse Manager provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Cath Lab. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing, this leader partners with fellow Nurse Managers, physicians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery. This role blends clinical excellence, financial stewardship, and people leadership, offering visibility across the cardiovascular service line. Requirements

  • BS degree required
  • MS degree required within 5 years
  • prior management experience is required

Nice To Haves

  • Adult Cardiac Cath and/or EP Lab clinical experience
  • prior management experience in a complex healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned inpatient unit.
  • Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments.
  • Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.
  • Lead daily operations of a high-acuity procedural environment, including staffing, workflow, and resource optimization
  • Drive quality, safety, and regulatory readiness initiatives
  • Partner in strategic planning, program growth, and service line expansion
  • Oversee fiscal accountability, productivity, and budget management
  • Develop and mentor staff, supporting professional advancement and specialty certification
  • Champion patient-centered care across all phases of the procedural experience
