Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Cardiology Office | Virginia Beach, VA Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights or Weekends Do meaningful cardiac work—without hospital hours. Our outpatient cardiology team is seeking a skilled, motivated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced office setting. Requirements

RN diploma, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Current BLS certification required
Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff
The Registered Nurse practices at a competent level using the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
This role upholds professional nursing standards including assessment, care planning, implementation, coordination of care, patient education, evaluation, ethics, collaboration, quality improvement, and patient-centered communication across all clinical activities.

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred
Prior cardiac nursing experience strongly recommended

Responsibilities

Blood pressure follow-up visits
Medication reviews and education
Performing and reviewing EKGs
Assessing and supporting walk-in symptomatic patients
Conduct incoming and outgoing clinical calls for triage and phone assessments
Review cardiac testing and lab results and communicate treatment plans per provider direction
Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Provide patient education and reinforce care plans
Cardiac stress testing
Heart monitor application
Coumadin clinic support
Assisting ultrasound technicians with bubble studies and enhanced echocardiography imaging agents
Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care
