About The Position

ProMedica Physician Cardiology (PPC), an outstanding cardiology group, is currently recruiting a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a dynamic team of experts. This well-established cardiology practice offers the full spectrum of cardiac services and has served the region for over 25 years, with excellent reputation. PPC consists of over 50 providers which includes General Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Imaging, Interventionalist, Electrophysiologist, and Advanced Practice Providers. Heart Failure Cardiologist Highlights: Collegial colleagues and work environment Shared call (night, weekend rounding on a rotating basis) Growing Heart Failure program with opportunities to impact HF care on the community level. Opportunity to grow a robust mechanical circulatory support program and institute hub-and-spoke model across a large tertiary care system. Shared Care opportunities for care of LVAD and heart transplant patients. Dedicated Cath Lab time for heart failure procedures such as heart catheterization, implantable PA sensors, endomyocardial biopsies, etc. Outreach clinic 2-3 times/month at satellite HF clinics setting, within 1 hour or less drive time from Toledo Multi-subspecialty cardiology group including interventional, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, & structural heart. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of
  • Board certified or eligible in Cardiology
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification
