About The Position

The Cardiopulmonary Technician: Assists the anesthesia provider in caring for patients. Assists the anesthesia provider in preparing for complex cases such as open-heart surgery, valve replacements, pacer lead extractions, and liver and kidney transplants. Assembles equipment used for anesthesia related procedures, maintains anesthesia equipment, assists with operating room turn overs, and cleans/stocks operating rooms. Requirements

  • 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree
  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
  • Relevant Experience
  • BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • LPN or certification from Certified Anesthesia Technology Program
  • Computer Skills to include use and navigation
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • General Clerical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong Team Player
