Cardiovascular (CV) Radiology Technologist - ADIT
About The Position
Fairview Health Services is hiring a Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (CV/EP) Technician to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at our Fairview Southdale Hospital location in Edina, MN. Our CV/EP Technicians assists with procedures in CV and EP providing diagnostic testing, collects and assesses data, performs scrub role and assists cardiologist. Schedule: This position will work 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two week pay period). 8 hour day shifts Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Weekday call 1-2 nights per week and weekend call every 4-5 weekends (variable). Will also be on call 1-2 Holidays per year.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience in Special Procedure Department/Cath Lab
Responsibilities
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
- Performs diagnostic, vascular, or other related procedures to aid in diagnosis determination.
- Assists Radiologist and/or staff physician in special procedure performance to expedite patient flow.
- Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.
- Assists in maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and availability.
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
