About The Position

Join a dynamic Cath Lab & IR team where your technical expertise directly supports life‑changing cardiac and vascular care. In this role, you will assist with a wide range of advanced procedures—including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular interventions as well as open surgical procedures—working under the direct supervision of a physician. You will play an essential part in the daily workflow of the department, contributing to high‑quality patient care and imaging. Success in this position requires maintaining a strong, in‑depth understanding of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment and supplies, along with the ability to assist confidently in their use. Requirements

  • Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program
  • Upon Hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification --or-- Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon Hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International --or-- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year of previous Cath Lab experience
  • 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining optimal radiographs
  • Supporting physicians in a strictly aseptic environment
  • Actively monitoring patients with the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition
