About The Position

To help carry out the mission of Passion City Church, that we are: for God, for people, for the city, and for the world. The role of the Care Coordinator is to ensure that the people of our House and their families get cared for well.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of ministry experience. An individual who is willing to step into people’s stories, seeing the current needs and a fundamental truth of God at work in many ways. This person should also have the emotional maturity and resilience to compassionately hold the weight of difficult stories and walk alongside people in seasons of deep need

Responsibilities

  • Maintain care processes, procedures and best practices for 515 location.
  • Recruit, train, and lead 515 Access Team, maintaining a team of Door Holders to implement care for the various needs across 515.
  • Help coordinate new and existing projects and events (ie. Unite Events)
  • Coordinate care-related needs that are submitted by phone, email, hubspot, etc.
  • Provide all official care-related updates to pastoral staff
  • Maintain our Care Network database of professionals and organizations to ensure accurate records, counselor availability, contact information, and invoicing procedures
  • Coordinate care of Door Holders for benevolence-related needs and collaborate with all staff.
  • Assist in the execution of individualized plans for each of the following areas: financial assistance, hospitalization + health needs, counseling referrals, wedding, and funerals.
  • Assist in budget management within designated areas of the budget.
