Key Responsibilities Case Management & Participant Services Manage a high-volume caseload of WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker participants. Conduct eligibility determinations, certifications, and enrollments into WIOA programs. Complete assessments, Individual Employment Plans (IEPs), and career planning with participants. Provide career counseling, employment guidance, and referrals to training and supportive services. Maintain ongoing engagement with participants to support progress toward employment and training goals. Documentation & Compliance Enter accurate case notes and documentation in the case management system the same day services are provided. Maintain participant files in accordance with WIOA policies, monitoring standards, and compliance requirements. Ensure documentation clearly supports eligibility, services provided, and program outcomes. Prepare files and documentation for internal reviews, monitoring, and audits. Performance & Enrollment Goals Meet weekly and monthly enrollment and service targets. Contribute to program performance outcomes including: Training enrollments Employment placements Credential attainment Measurable Skills Gains Maintain strong pipeline management to ensure continuous participant engagement and movement through services. Employer & Training Coordination Coordinate with Business Services staff and training providers to support participant employment and training opportunities. Assist participants in identifying training programs aligned with in-demand occupations. Team Collaboration Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and program planning discussions. Collaborate with partners including community organizations, adult education providers, and other workforce system partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, workforce development, or related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
  • Experience in case management, workforce development, employment services, or social services.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong documentation and data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet performance expectations and program deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with WIOA programs or other workforce development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with workforce case management systems and performance reporting.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing employment barriers.
