Preference will be given to undergraduate students entering 2nd / 3rd year and graduate students in Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service in-person and virtually, within the Career Education space as well as at our mobile unit and campus events
  • Engage in career conversations with students and provide information on career exploration and job search strategies via email, walk-ins and workshops.
  • Educate students on resources, programs, and services offered by CCEE and make appropriate referrals to other Campus services
  • Utilize active listening skills and ask probing questions to understand student queries; triage students to appropriate staff members as needed
  • Provide constructive feedback on job search documents such as resumes, cover letters, portfolios, and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Participate in a variety of team projects including resource development, promotional campaigns, and Goodman and Campus career events
  • Actively share ideas and support student engagement for Career Education
  • Support Co-op, Career & Experiential Education programming as needed
  • Provide support to other campus units, including: the Black Student Success Centre; student clubs
  • Support the daily operations of Career Education as required
  • Maintain daily statistics on customer interactions and collect customer feedback
  • Support presentations and workshops as required
  • Support tracking for the Co-Curricular Record
  • All other duties as assigned
