About The Position
At Valley VNA Senior Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We believe in creating a nurturing environment where both our residents and caregivers thrive. Caregiver Training Our Foundations of Care training program is a 3 week program with paid hands on training with our Staff Development Mentor to learn all required care tasks and culture to be a caregiver for our facility. Upon completion of Foundations of Care, you will continue employment with Valley VNA as a part time or full time Resident Assistant in our Assisted Living Facility.
Requirements
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Able to lift at least 40lbs and provide hands on personal cares.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including hands on personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborate with medical staff and family members to ensure the best care for each resident.
- Document resident care and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
