Executive Home Care (EHC) of Conway, AR is seeking Companion Caregivers to provide year‑round, non‑medical support and meaningful companionship to clients in the comfort of their homes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a companion, volunteer, or caregiver for an elderly loved one is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships through conversation, reading, games, shared hobbies, and other engaging activities that support emotional and mental well‑being.
  • Provide safe, friendly transportation to appointments, social outings, community events, or errands such as grocery shopping.
  • Offer companionship during mealtimes and assist with light meal planning and preparation.
  • Help maintain a tidy, comfortable home environment through light housekeeping and organization.
  • Provide gentle medication reminders according to the client’s established schedule.
  • Encourage participation in hobbies, puzzles, walks, or other enjoyable activities.
  • Observe and report changes in client behavior, routines, or well‑being, and accurately document visits and observations.
